The International Council of Jewish Women concluded its Quadrennial Convention at a closing dinner on May 30th 2018. The retiring ICJW President Robyn Lenn OAM, the first Australian to be installed as President of ICJW in over a century of the organisation’s existence was thanked and congratulated on her successful four year term.

The closing dinner was also the opportunity to welcome and hear from the new ICJW President Penelope Conway from the United Kingdom.

The Convention saw ICJW affiliates from Australia and representatives from 16 affiliates out of ICJW’s 35 affiliates from around the world and many from the local community meet in Sydney to hear inspiring speakers address the large audience on issues of concern to women.

We look forward to a continuation of ICJW’s inspiring work.
