Lisa Farber

Lisa Farber is an educator, dedicated community worker and passionate member of the Melbourne Jewish Community.
 
Trained as a lawyer, Lisa chose to rather pursue a career in teaching, where for close to 30 years she has loved educating children of all ages.
 
Jewish Life and Culture are fundamental tenets of Lisa’s daily life and to this end she has embraced key roles in many community organisations, including:

Board Member of Mount Scopus Memorial College
Board Member for the establishment of the Centre for Jewish Civilisation, Monash University
Project Development Team Member for the Melbourne Jewish Museum
Co - President Friends of Yad Vashem Australia
Educational guide at Melbourne Holocaust Museum
 
Lisa is also a proud Zionist and has been the president of a vibrant WIZO group for 23 years as well as holding a Board position for the JDC Australia.
 
Lisa is married to Justin and has 2 young adult children.
