Engagement
Committee
The Engagement Committee aims to provide a ‘home’ for Jewish women in Australia of diverse age, ethnic, religious and political backgrounds, and to develop and deepen relationships with women from the wider community.
Social Justice
Committee
The Social Justice Committee aims to highlight and address a range of social justice issues affecting all Australian women, as well as Jewish Australian women specifically.
Comms
Committee
The Comms (Communications) Committee aims to amplify the messaging of NCJWA via all means.
Our Committees
NCJWA offers Jewish women and allies a platform and a framework to become involved in meaningful work and advocacy to address the multiple issues affecting us in Australia today.
Each NCJWA Committee comprises between ten and fifteen women from across Australia with sector-specific skills, experience and networks to address issues including gender inequality, domestic violence, the disintegration of civil discourse, Reconciliation, the feminist movement’s marginalisation of Zionists, and the current tsunami of racism against Jewish people.
Allies
Committee
The Allies Committee comprises women from outside the Jewish community who share our values and goals, and aims to support the work of NCJWA to build an Australian society that is equitable and inclusive for all women and girls.
Resource
Committee
The Resource Committee supports the work of NCJWA by gathering the relevant human, information and material resources for each project and program.
Conference
Committee
The Conference Committee plans and executes the annual NCJWA National Conference, bringing together women from across Australia and the world.
