Tanna Klevansky

Tanna is a young woman from Sydney, NSW. She is a dedicated community leader with a long-standing passion for social justice, combating antisemitism, and fostering interfaith relationships.
She has held leadership roles across several key community organisations, including Habonim Dror, the Australasian Union of Jewish Students (AUJS), Youth HEAR (Holocaust Education and Remembrance), and the NSW Jewish Board of Deputies.
In the wake of the October 7 attacks and the difficult months that followed, Tanna led the NSW Jewish Board of Deputies’ digital media strategy. Like many in the Australian Jewish community, she describes this period as the most challenging of her life.
Tanna has supported NCJWA in revitalising its digital and social media presence, with a strong focus on strengthening engagement with young women.
She currently works as a political staffer in the NSW Minns Government.
