NCJWA Brisbane

NCJWA Brisbane is a smaller Section of the National body but strongly represented in the wider Brisbane community. 

 

Our attention has been channelled in to tapping in to established charities and collecting goods for their needs, and then coming together to collate the collection and share time socially.

 

We are members of the National Council of Women of Queensland and annually fund a bursary for a second-year female education student in need of financial support.

We aim to assist smaller, non-Government funded charities nationally, as well as one-off assistance when the need arises, such as bushfire appeals. 

​

In Israel we donate annually to Beit Michah, an organisation that assists all hearing-impaired children and their families. 

 

We have a connection with the interfaith communities of Brisbane and are well represented in that sphere. 

 

Our section constantly re-evaluates where we can assist within the communities we find ourselves.
