NCJWA WA

NCJWA in Western Australia has a long history of service and community engagement throughout the Greater Perth region. Our focus lies in supporting women and children in need, particularly those seeking shelter and assistance. At our core, we hold an unwavering belief that every woman in danger deserves safety, peace, and protection.
We are committed to raising funds and donating goods to local initiatives, including the domestic violence refuge Orana House. Our recent fundraising efforts have extended globally, supporting the Haifa Rape Crisis Center in Israel.
As a section, we celebrate a harmonious balance between preserving traditional values and embracing progress. Representing generations of Jewish women, we take pride in our Shalom Group, which recently celebrated its 45th year, as well as our vibrant young Netanya Group.
These and several other groups provide opportunities for members to meet socially, host guest speakers on diverse Jewish and general topics, and organize fundraising efforts for our causes. Our Youth Group includes members from Generation X, Millennials and beyond, reflecting the energy and vision of future leadership.
We also sponsor prize-giving at Perth's Jewish Carmel School, honouring and encouraging the achievements of its students.
Despite being located in Australia’s largest and most remote state, we draw strength from our strong sense of community. Together, we create a meaningful impact both locally and abroad. We warmly welcome women of all ages to join us in our mission to empower and uplift.
